I have seen NIGHTMARE stories about moving companies all over tv, 20/20, Dateline ... you get where I am going. Highway bandits! I could never trust a moving company. There has not been ONE good experience I have heard of from any of my friends. I just sell off all the household goods and call it a day. I rather take my losses up front, cash in hand.

I made sure to get a flat rate that and that helped. It was a few hundred more but I was so worried about getting charged thousands more if I didn't. My stuff didn't arrive on time but it was only a few days late and only one casualty. I think I just lucked out with the movers I picked. Hopefully, this will be coming to an end for you soon.
